A gift in your Will is a simple but powerful way that your support for Share can live on and on.
It’s a way of sharing assets – money, property, or valuables – when you no longer need them without impacting your current finances or enjoyment of life.
Your support, through a bequest or legacy, will one day make a significant difference to the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our communities.
You will be planting seeds of hope for future generations.
Many people may feel uncomfortable talking about their generosity and we understand this. We respect the wishes of some of our bequestors to remain anonymous – please be assured we will never publish your name without your specific approval.
By knowing of your intentions now, we can make sure that we will carry out your specific wishes as stated in your Will. We encourage you to advise us, in complete confidence, of your intentions so that we may say a discreet and sincere thank you during your lifetime.
Seeds of Hope members, Share’s growing network of bequest benefactors, are:
- Proudly acknowledged on Share’s Honour Roll (with your permission, of course)
- Invited to special Seeds of Hope events
- Kept informed and updated about Share’s work and the impact of donations through the Seeds of Hope newsletter
By knowing of your intentions now, we can make sure that we will carry out your specific wishes as stated in your Will. Some people nominate a specific area or work such as emergency relief. However, over time needs change. Share will always respond to the areas of greatest need in our communities. By informing us of your legacy gift we can discuss with you the best wording for your pledge so that you can be assured that we will carry out your wishes.
