SHARE grants, funded by our regular appeals, are a vital source of support for UnitingCare agencies and other community organisations assisting people in crisis.  The programs we support make a real difference.  They offer long term, practical solutions to those in need, ensuring that all people, regardless of race, religion, gender and age, live a life of dignity and hope.

The network of care provided by the agencies we support is enormous.

They work with:

• People without food or shelter
• Families affected by substance abuse, family conflict, poverty and gambling
• Abused and neglected children
• Families in crisis
• Children and adults with disabilities
• Youth and youth ‘at risk’ because of family breakdown, drugs, unemployment and homelessness
• Migrant families, refugees and asylum seekers

Without the support of SHARE grants, many of these programs would be forced to close.
